Health and safety

Here at C+Y Scaffolding we believe health and safety to be paramount and will never sacrifice the safety of our operatives, or those around them, to save on time and cost.

All our operatives are CITB registered and CISRS/CSCS card holders, and we hold regular tool box talks and appropriate training before each project. 

C+Y generate job specific risk assessments and method statements prior to work commencing on site to ensure our team members are aware of the possible hazards. We believe in working closely with our operatives to ensure they understand the ever-changing industry standards, which allows them to work confidently in compliance with them on site.

 We hold full public and employer liability insurance which can be produced upon request by the client. 

We acknowledge and encourage the requirements of the construction industry regulations and understand the legal obligations under the Health and safety at work act 1974 and Working at heights regulations 2005. 

C+Y  follow TG20:13 & SG4:22 guidelines and we follow a 5-point PPE company policy (hard hat, hi-vis, steel capped boots, gloves, harness).
